What To Expect On Your First Visit ...We welcome you to our office! We will ask you to complete a medical history sheet and patient information form, which we will send to you before you come in for your first appointment. The initial appointment is for a preliminary clinical examination to determine if there is a need for orthodontic treatment. We will advise you of the general nature of the problem and the necessary corrective treatment. The approximate fee and further procedures will also be discussed. There is no charge for this initial exam. If treatment is indicated, diagnostic records will be taken to enable Dr. O'Reilly to determine specifically what problems are involved and what will be necessary for corrrection. We will take impressions for upper and lower study casts, facial and oral photographs, a panoramic and a cephalometric x-ray. A separate appointment will be arranged for a follow-up treatment conference in order to fully explain your or your child's treatment plan.
